Chronic Fatigue Syndrome
Persistent and unexplained fatigue, impairment of daily functioning and associated with a variety of physical symptoms >6 months

Manifests with fatigue, cognitive problems, does not feel rested after sleep, pain and increased levels of illness following physical / mental activity, muscle pain, arthralgias significant impairment of school work / schedule/ recreation and interpersonal relationships. Also includes nonspecific symptoms. School absenteeism is common.
Screening of patients required
Cognitive behavior therapy with graded exercise therapy. Return to school should be initiated gradually and systematically to resume normal attendance and socialization.
